Legal Counsel - 12 month FTC

3-8 PQE Hybrid (Salford - 1 day per week)

A leading international business is seeking an experienced commercial lawyer to join its UK legal team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

This is a broad in-house role supporting commercial operations across a large and diverse organisation. The successful candidate will advise on a wide range of commercial matters, working closely with senior stakeholders on complex contracts, projects and risk management issues.

• Drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements
• Advising on outsourcing, supplier and customer contracts
• Supporting on complex projects, disputes and contract variations
• Advising on legal and commercial risk
• Working closely with business teams and external counsel where required
• Providing pragmatic, solutions-focused legal advice in a fast-paced environment

• 3-8 years' PQE
• Strong commercial contracts experience gained in private practice and/or in house
• Excellent drafting and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied workload
• Experience with outsourcing or public procurement matters would be advantageous but is not essential

• 12 month fixed term contract
• Hybrid working model
• Ability to attend the Salford office once per week is essential
