Junior Legal Counsel

As a Junior Legal Counsel, you'll play a key role in supporting a fast-growing fintech business, gaining hands on experience while helping us navigate legal complexity across multiple markets.

What you'll do- Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and policies
- Conduct legal research to support decision-making and compliance
- Help identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks across the business
- Support compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with teams across the business to solve legal challenges
- Maintain and update legal documentation and contract systems
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- An LLB degree (essential)
- Up to 1 year post-admission or relevant legal experience in a corporate/commercial environment
- Foundational knowledge of commercial law and contracts
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders
- A collaborative approach and positive attitude
- Curiosity about fintech, regulation, and cross-border legal frameworks
