Junior Garment Technologist - Old Khaki
Job Description
- Assist with product development in line with brand requirements and specifications
- Support the preparation and submission of accurate tech packs to suppliers
- Assist in managing the sample sealing process from development through to production
- Participate in fit sessions and support seasonal fit reviews
- Support pattern grading in line with brand and customer specifications
- Provide technical support to the Design team
- Assist in maintaining pattern block libraries and grading rules
- Help ensure garment quality standards are met
- Support QA reporting and quality investigations
- Liaise with suppliers and factories on sample approvals and quality queries
- Assist with communication between Distribution Centre QC teams and suppliers
- Participate in supplier visits and quality audits where required
- Grade 12
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Fashion Design / Clothing / Textiles / Garment Construction
- 1-3 years' experience in a similar or related role (internship or graduate experience considered)
- Exposure to a retail or manufacturing environment (advantageous)
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel advantageous)
- Understanding of garment and pattern construction principles
- Strong attention to detail
