We are a tech consulting company assisting a retail-sector client with their transition from Jira On?Premise to Jira Cloud. As part of this initiative, we are seeking an experienced Jira Cloud Adoption Coach / Trainer to support delivery teams through the change.

This role is focused on tool usage enablement and day?to?day guidance, helping teams understand how to work effectively in Jira Cloud given differences from the on?prem version. The successful candidate will act as a trusted guide during the transition, ensuring teams are comfortable, productive, and using Jira Cloud in a fit?for?purpose way.

What you'll do:
  • Guide delivery and business teams through the move from Jira On?Premise to Jira Cloud
  • Coach users on how to perform their daily activities effectively in Jira Cloud, focusing on practical usage rather than theory
  • Explain key functional differences between Jira On?Prem and Jira Cloud
  • Support teams in adopting recommended Jira Cloud ways of working aligned to their needs
  • Provide hands on training sessions, walkthroughs, and ad hoc support
  • Act as a point of reassurance and enablement during the transition period
  • Where beneficial, advise Jira administrators on best practice usage and configuration approaches (without assuming admin responsibility)
Your Expertise:
  • Strong hands on experience using Jira Cloud
  • Preferably experience with both Jira On?Premise and Jira Cloud
  • Proven experience coaching or supporting teams during tool transitions or platform migrations
  • Practical, user focused mindset with the ability to explain tooling concepts clearly
  • Comfortable working in a consulting and client facing environment
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with retail or large, multi team organisations
  • Exposure to Jira Cloud best practice usage or adoption frameworks
  • Ability to mentor administrators on effective Jira Cloud usage
