Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
A leading automotive group is seeking a hands on HR Generalist to join their Head Office HR team. This role focuses on industrial relations, HR administration, compliance, and operational HR support within a fast paced environment.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)- HR Degree or Diploma (or related qualification)
- 3-5 years' experience as an HR Generalist
- Strong Industrial Relations (IR) experience
- Strong administrative capability (detail-driven environment)
- Proven experience in HR policy drafting and implementation
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written and verbal)
- Valid driver's licence
- Payroll exposure (training can be provided)
- B BBEE exposure
- Sage VIP Payroll experience
- MIBCO experience
- Automotive industry experience
- Provide HR and IR support to the business
- Draft, update, and implement HR policies and procedures
- Support payroll processes where required
- Assist with Employment Equity and compliance reporting
- Support Skills Development initiatives
- Assist with OHS administration and compliance
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure governance standards
- Provide day to day HR support and guidance to management
- Highly organised and detail oriented
- Able to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively
- Proactive, self motivated, and solutions driven
- Professional with strong communication skills and confidentiality
