• Ensure comprehensive customer service in store.
• Merchandising of stock, shelf price labelling and housekeeping within designated area of responsibility.
• Advise and assist customers on correct products and queries; assist with and resolve customer complaints.
• Maintain merchandising standards: bulk stock area, store layout and planograms within your area of responsibility.
• Keep area free of obstacles; ensure safety of customers when entering and leaving your aisle; complete price labelling and checklists as required (canteen and toilet/showers schedule).
• Maintain OHSA safety compliance and report discrepancies to the Store Manager; manage stock loss and report damaged stock as needed.

• Minimum Grade 10 or NQF 3 with 1 year of work-related experience, or Grade 12 with no related work experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language of the area.
• Valid South African ID or work permit.
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
