A well-established logistics provider is looking for an experienced Finance and Admin Coordinator to manage their daily accounts and administrative functions. This role is a high-impact, 4-month contract requiring a candidate who is comfortable with the fast-paced nature of the logistics industry and has a solid grasp of Sage Accounting.

This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of finance and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the "paper trail" of the supply chain is handled with precision.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Debtors & Revenue: Full Debtors collection function, distributing daily tax invoices, and following up on payment slips to ensure healthy cash flow.
  • Creditors & Suppliers: Drawing up supplier invoices and performing meticulous Creditor reconciliations.
  • Payroll & Wages: Compiling and finalising the weekly wages payroll schedule for staff.
  • Logistics Coordination: Managing the weekly distribution of original PODs to specific clients via Courier Guy.
  • Complex Reconciliations: Monthly and weekly "recons" across Tax Invoices, PODs, and Diesel usage, a critical metric for our client's operations.
  • Fleet Admin: Compiling and tracking monthly vehicle disc renewals to keep the fleet road-legal.
  • Office Support: Handling weekly petty cash and resolving queries from both internal staff and external clients.
Requirements
  • Financial Expertise: Proven experience in the full Debtors (collections and invoicing) and Creditors (reconciliations and supplier invoicing) functions.
  • Payroll Knowledge: Hands on experience compiling weekly wages and payroll schedules.
  • Software Proficiency: Intermediate/Advanced Sage Accounting, SharePoint, and MS Excel skills.
  • Logistics Literacy: Understanding the importance of PODs (Proof of Delivery) and the pace of a transport environment.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
Working Hours

07:00 - 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00 (Monday to Friday)
