Environment Specialist - Mining

CBM360TIV is seeking a qualified Environment Specialist to support environmental compliance, sustainability programs, and environmental monitoring activities for mining operations in South Africa. The role is responsible for ensuring environmentally responsible practices and maintaining compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.

Environment Manager / Operations Manager

• Monitor environmental compliance across mining operations.
• Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and site assessments.
• Support waste management, pollution control, and rehabilitation activities.
• Prepare environmental reports and regulatory documentation.
• Assist in implementing environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate environmental awareness and training programs for employees.
• Ensure compliance with local environmental laws and mining regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Mining, or related field.
• Environmental certifications are an added advantage.

• Minimum 3+ years of environmental management experience in mining, construction, or industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of environmental compliance and sustainability standards preferred.

• Environmental monitoring and reporting.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and environmental regulations.
• Risk assessment and environmental auditing.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
