Our client is seeking 2 experienced Dental Receptionists to join the Port Elizabeth team.

  • Greet patients professionally and create awarm, welcoming environment
  • Manage patient check-ins and check-outs
  • Handle patient queries in person,telephonically, and via email
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all timesin line with POPIA
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patientappointments
  • Manage cancellations and reschedulingefficiently
  • Coordinate dentist and hygienist diaries tooptimise chair time
  • Send appointment reminders and follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate patient records and filingsystems
  • Handle medical aid claims, quotations, andpre-authorisations
  • Process invoices, receipts, and dailycash-ups
  • Assist with month-end administration whererequired
  • Verify patient medical aid details andbenefits
  • Submit medical aid claims electronically
  • Follow up on outstanding payments andrejected claims
  • Provide patients with clear explanations ofaccounts and treatment costs
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist (minimum2-3 years preferred)
  • Experience working with dental or medicalpractice management systems (e.g. GoodX, Elixir, DentiMax, etc.)
  • Medical aid billing and claims experience
