We're expanding our data engineering capability and are looking for an Intermediate level Data Engineer to build the pipelines and models that power analytics, billing, experimentation, AI/ML workloads, and commercial reporting across our organisation.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Data Engineer (L2), you'll design, build, and operate the data pipelines that our business relies on every day. You will work end to end across ingestion, transformation, modelling, and optimisation-contributing scalable, production grade solutions that are reliable, monitored, and well tested.
You'll play a key role in:
- Designing and developing robust ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, dbt, AWS Lambda, and modern orchestration tooling.
- Building clean, reusable data models across staging, intermediate, and mart layers in Snowflake.
- Onboarding and exposing new data sources to support products, features, and business initiatives.
- Implementing data quality checks, validations, observability and monitoring for early issue detection.
- Optimising query performance, storage usage, and Snowflake costs.
- Managing schema evolution, data lineage, and documentation.
- Supporting deployment, monitoring, and operational stability of data pipelines.
- Collaborating with Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, AI/ML Engineers, and Software Engineers to deliver end to end data solutions.
- Using automation and AI assisted techniques to continuously improve the platform.
This is a hands on, delivery focused role where you'll have meaningful ownership over the pipelines and data products you build.
QualificationsYou're an engineer who enjoys ownership, solves problems with curiosity, and thrives in a collaborative team. You also have:
Core Requirements- 2-5 years' experience in data engineering or a closely related field
- 5 star level experience in SQL and solid Python skills
- Hands on experience with dbt
- Experience working with cloud platforms, especially AWS Lambda and Snowflake
- Familiarity with building pipelines and Terraform, CI/CD, version control
- Solid Git fundamentals and experience in collaborative engineering environments
- Experience with orchestration tooling (Openflow or similar)
- Familiarity with analytics, experimentation, or AI/ML workloads
- Experience supporting production scale data platforms
- Exposure to legacy platforms + modernisation initiatives
- Experience implementing observability or data quality frameworks
