PositionConcierge - Front Office Desk
ResponsibilitiesThe Concierge will work at the Front Office Desk of the Hotel and will act as a point of reference for guests who need assistance or require information. The Concierge must be able to provide customized solutions to each guest by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the Hotel, assist with the booking of transportation, and advise of malls, attractions, points of interest, and other destinations within the vicinity.
Minimum Requirements- Matric
- Hospitality Qualification or similar
- Previous Concierge experience
- Hands on problem solving approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Friendly, courteous and service oriented
- Customer service driven with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Knowledge of attractions, activities and the area as a whole
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Effective communication with staff members as well as guests of the Hotel
- Honest and trustworthy approach
- Great attention to detail
- Presentable/professional appearance and well spoken
- Team player who leads by example
- Proactive in approach
Relocation costs will be paid at the applicant's expense if the application is successful and the applicant resides outside the city where the Hotel is located.
