BI Data Analyst/ Consultant

Salary - R70k - R80k Dep on Exp.

We are seeking a skilled Data Consultant to help clients unlock the value of their data and drive informed, strategic decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders across industries to gather requirements, analyse data, and deliver actionable insights through impactful dashboards and reports.

• Engage with clients to understand business objectives and data requirements
• Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets to identify trends and insights
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Qlik
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
• Apply predictive modelling and machine learning techniques where relevant
• Design and implement business intelligence solutions and KPI frameworks
• Provide strategic data guidance, client training, and post-implementation support
• Stay current with analytics and BI best practices

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years' experience in Data Analytics, BI, or Consulting roles
• Strong SQL and data manipulation skills
• Proven experience building dashboards (Power BI/Qlik preferred)
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive analytics

• Consulting/client-facing experience
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication and data storytelling skills
• Client-focused with strong stakeholder engagement capability
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively
• Agile, adaptable, and detail-oriented
