Job Description
Main purpose of the job
To conduct investigations at the University, promote ethics, fraud prevention, and detection of crime and security breaches and misconduct.
Main tasks- Prevention of fraud, misconduct, and ethical breaches
- Investigation of fraud and misconduct
- Investigation of ethical breaches and hotline reports
- Internal investigation procedures
- Incident Investigations
- Liaison and reporting
- Project management

Minimum salary scale (Total Cost to Company)R per annum (2026 salary scales to be confirmed)

Minimum Qualification/ Knowledge and/or Experience- Relevant degree or NQF 7 qualification.
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation.
- Five (5) years' relevant experience.
- Postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) in Forensic Auditing or Sciences.
- Ethics Officer Certification.
- Experience in the Higher Education environment.
- Eight (8) years' relevant experience.
