Skills and Knowledge
  • You must be a South Africa Citizen.
  • Must not currently be employed or participate in any Learnership programme.
  • Must not currently be busy with any other studies full time.
  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 34 years.
  • Applicants must have a clear criminal record.
  • Applicants must be able to attend classes on weekdays (in Midrand, Johannesburg) and will thereafter be placed in a workplace.
  • Applicants must be prepared to commit for 12 months.
  • Applicants must have a:
    • Have a Standard 10/Grade 12 Certificate (English and Mathematics as the main subjects).
    • National Diploma in IT NQF Level 5.
    • Any Cybersecurity certificates not issued by SETA.
    • Further Education and Training Certificate in IT: Technical Support Level 4.
    • Basic understanding of IT concepts (hardware, networking, operating systems).
    • Prior IT experience or certification (e.g. CompTIA A+, N+) is advantageous but not mandatory.
