Video Content Editor - Podcasts & Social Media

Location: Remote (Available During U.S. Business Hours)
Reports To: Head of Content or Executive Producer
Type: Full-Time

The Role

We're looking for a Video Content Editor who can craft exceptional audio visual stories from interviews, expert discussions, and brand media. In this role, you'll shape the way our podcast and video content comes to life-handling everything from post production to platform specific optimization.

This is a high ownership role for someone who's fluent in YouTube storytelling, skilled in short form editing, and passionate about content that educates, engages, and converts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit long form podcast episodes into engaging audio and video formats

  • Produce short form clips that capture key moments and drive distribution on TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts

  • Enhance content with color correction, motion graphics, audio leveling, and creative cuts

  • Maintain file structures, asset libraries, and delivery timelines across a growing volume of content

  • Collaborate with the creative team to shape show flow, visuals, and pacing

  • Monitor metrics like watch time, CTR, and audience retention to iterate on format

  • Act as a quality gatekeeper for everything we publish-visually and sonically

  • Support marketing efforts with video assets tailored to campaign goals

  • Optimize workflows and templates to increase editing efficiency

Qualifications
  • Video/audio editing experience in a content driven environment

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and similar tools

  • Demonstrated experience producing content that performs across social and thought leadership channels

  • Solid grasp of content strategy, storytelling, and brand voice

  • Strong time management and communication in a remote team setting

  • Analytical mindset-comfortable using data to guide creative evolution

Preferred
  • Experience in B2B media or SaaS industries

  • Working knowledge of SEO and tagging best practices for YouTube and podcasts

  • Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of other editors

  • Systems thinker who thrives on operational improvement
