An experienced Turner / Machinist is required to manufacture, repair, and assemble hydraulic components according to drawings or samples. The role involves operating conventional machinery, performing fault finding, and maintaining high-quality production standards within a workshop environment. The successful candidate must be hands on, technically skilled, and capable of working independently on repairs and manufacturing tasks.

Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Matric), N3 or equivalent
  • Qualified Artisan / Trade Tested
  • Minimum 4 years' manufacturing experience
  • Experience working with power packs, pumps, and hydraulic cylinders
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
  • Competent in operating conventional lathe and milling machines
  • Strong fault finding and troubleshooting ability
  • Experience in fabrication, general fitting, and hydraulic tubing bending
  • Ability to strip, repair, and assemble hydraulic pumps and cylinders
  • Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards
  • Skilled in welding, drilling, tapping, re threading, and deburring
  • Experience with measuring instruments and quality checks
