An excellent opportunity is available for a Trainee Field Technician to join a dynamic environment within the construction and mining technology sector. This role is ideal for a technically minded individual looking to gain hands-on experience in product implementation, support, and maintenance of advanced solutions on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation of products and solutions on customer sites
• Support testing, validation, and successful sign-off of installations
• Perform basic maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of technical equipment
• Provide on-site and telephonic support to customers
• Assist in diagnosing technical issues and applying solutions
• Maintain accurate service records and reports
• Support customer training on implemented systems
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Millwright Qualification (NQF 4 - Trade School)
• Minimum 1 year experience in product implementation and/or field service/support within the geospatial or similar industry
• Basic understanding of technical equipment and troubleshooting (yellow machines)
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
• Willing to use own vehicle for business travel when required
• Willing and able to travel extensively across Africa and be away from home regularly
• Physically fit and able to meet health and safety requirements

• Experience in the geospatial industry
• Exposure to advanced technical solutions within similar environments
