TOOL, JIG & DIE MAKER (PINETOWN, KZN)
Job Description
To design, build, modify, and maintain tools, jigs, dies, and molds used in plastic injection molding, press tooling, and assembly processes.
Qualifications & Experience- Qualified Tool, Jig & Die Maker
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Background in injection molding and/or press tooling preferred
- Must have experience in CAD design
- Proficiency in toolmaking processes and machine operation
- Experience with:
- EDM (Spark erosion and wire cutting)
- Universal turret milling
- Conventional lathes and surface grinding
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software
- Basic knowledge of CNC machining
- Familiarity with plastic injection molding and stamping operations
