Job Overview

Responsible Gambling Team Lead: Manage and maintain a 24/7 Responsible Gambling Team, supporting responsible gambling delivery across Super Group's online gaming platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Lead by example, motivate the team, conduct monthly team meetings, manage succession planning, handle roster and leave.
  • Onboarding and Development: Conduct onboarding, probation sign off, provide feedback, mentoring, coaching, rewards, and recognition.
  • Performance Management: Support team development goals, monitor KPI benchmarks, conduct QA checks, report trends, drive performance reviews.
  • Workload Management: Monitor shift plans, manage refunds, provide live support, ensure SLA benchmarks, log incidents.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build rapport with internal and external departments, act as a subject matter expert on responsible gambling and customer welfare.
  • Compliance: Provide direction on responsible gambling processes, assist with audits, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Essential Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification or certification in Psychology, Social Work, Compliance, Risk or Fraud.
  • Minimum 12 months leadership experience in a related field.
  • Experience in responsible gambling, knowledge of policies, procedures and systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent project management and cross functional collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated behaviour aligned to organisational culture.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in the online gaming or casino industry.
  • Knowledge of gambling regulations across jurisdictions.
  • Experience in customer retention strategies.
  • Proficiency in Dynamics365, Excel reporting, and data analysis.
  • Previous coaching or leadership experience.
