Hiking Tour Guide - Karijini

Where: Karijini National Park, Pilbara, Western Australia

Lives: On site at Karijini Eco Retreat (accommodation provided)

Length: Minimum 6 weeks. Preferred 12 weeks. Season runs through October.

Type: Seasonal contract

You'll be running back-to-back private day departures and public tours with small groups, typically 2-10 guests.

You'll live on site for the duration.

• A small, capable team and one of the best places in the country to spend a winter

• Substantial outdoor leadership experience
• Comfort moving through Class 4 and 5 gorge environments - scrambling, swimming, exposure, cold water
• Senior First Aid and CPR, Remote Area First Aid (or ability to get this prior to commencement)
• The temperament to live and work on site for 6-12 weeks
• A real interest in geology, Country, and sharing trail with travellers from around the world
• The ability to hold a group steady when conditions shift, and the judgement to know when to turn around
• WWCC, current driver's licence, and the right to work in Australia
• A 4WD vehicle
