Johannesburg Area Accounting & Tax Consulting Firm

A professional accounting and tax consulting firm in the Johannesburg area is looking to appoint a Qualified Tax Specialist / Tax Consultant to support their growing client portfolio.

This role is suited to a tax professional with strong technical tax knowledge and SARS compliance experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage tax compliance for individuals, trusts, and companies.

Prepare and review income tax returns, provisional tax, and VAT submissions.

Handle SARS queries, audits, and objections.

Provide tax advisory services and assist with tax planning for clients.

Ensure compliance with current tax legislation and regulatory requirements.

Identify tax risks and opportunities for clients.

Work closely with accountants and partners to deliver integrated financial services.

Requirements

Relevant qualification in Tax, Accounting, or Finance.

Registered Tax Practitioner (preferred).

3-5+ years experience in a tax role within an accounting or consulting firm.

Strong working knowledge of SARS systems and tax legislation.

Experience with tax calculations, submissions, and compliance.

Excellent analytical and communication skills.
