Job Description
TRACKER requires an experienced, energetic, and passionate Talent Acquisition Officer, to ensure attraction, selection, and retention of the right talent needed to achieve business objectives. The role is responsible for managing the recruitment process efficiently while maintaining a positive candidate experience and supporting workforce planning.
Talent Acquisition- Assist in job profiling and grading sessions
- Draw up job descriptions as per profile
- Advertise all vacancies on internal and external portals
- Liaise with respective recruitment agencies regarding potential candidates
- Contribute towards developing a pool of suitably qualified potential candidates for future reference
- Continuously research and recommend new candidate sourcing opportunities to drive increased access to quality candidates
- Contribute towards the execution of approved, fit-for-purpose sourcing plans that are geared towards fulfilling the operational talent needs of the business and HC
- Provide support in executing relevant talent attraction initiatives like networking with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during special events
- Evaluate the consolidated recruitment process information with the hiring manager / supervisor for final selection
- Attend assessment feedback meetings with the hiring manager to assist with recruitment decisions
- Conduct screening of applicants according to the EE Plan and minimum requirements of the job
- Compile a long list of applicants and present to the recruiting manager for further shortlisting
- Conduct interviews with shortlisted applicants as per the SOPs
- Track applicants' status on the career site
- Close adverts to bulk regret unsuccessful applicants
- Coordinate and facilitate all Recruitment Agency contracts as per the strategic HC objectives
- Load and terminate Recruitment Service Level Agreements on the system
- Attend Quality Champion meetings, ensure HC documents and policies are Indexed and updated as per company standards
- Utilise relevant recruitment data to collaborate with internal stakeholders in updating the organisation's organograms
- Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process to improve candidate experience and identify areas of improvement
- Within scope, guide and aid business in ensuring strict compliance with all required HC and recruitment legislation, policies, procedures and best practices
- Create vacancies as per the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure)
- Ensure requisitions and change forms are approved
- Obtain approval of vacancies via the correct processes and procedures
- Add new jobs and notify the payroll department
- Add and update organisational structures and notify the payroll department
- Train new managers and employees on the HCIS
- Log calls to grant new managers access to the
- Update approval template for Managers
- Generate and submit monthly progress and productivity reports
- Proactively assist in tracking hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, source of hire and quality of placement, to drive the implementation of improvement initiatives where required
- Maintain a comprehensive database of potential candidates for future job openings, especially in specialist or scarce skill roles
- Support management to increase staff retention rates
- Continuously provide superior customer service to all relevant stakeholders (internal and external customers)
- Ensure appropriate enquiry handling through timeous resolution of issues and demonstrating resourcefulness in addressing customer needs
- Contribute towards the design and implementation of recruitment best practice standards and protocols across the organisation
- Proactively liaise with all relevant internal stakeholders in driving the recruitment process and delivering a placement process that exceeds customer expectations
- National Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge and experience in HCIS
- 3 Years' experience in an HR Generalist or Recruitment role within a corporate environment is required
- Strong administration skills

- The ability to work accurately with attention to detail
- Flexible and willing to learn
- Computer literate, MS Office with strong MS Excel experience / knowledge
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and ability to persuade others
