Structural Digital Modeller

A large consulting company with offices across South Africa working on large international projects is looking for a Structural Digital Modeller.

• Education: Matric or equivalent (National Diploma would be beneficial)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Structural Digital Modeller
• Proficiency in Revit; advanced Dynamo skills are advantageous
• Familiarity with delivering projects in the global commercial built environment, proactively bringing solutions that push accuracy, quality, and data richness beyond current industry norms.
• Innovative mindset, able to capitalize on technology advancements.
• Ability to use initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise at a senior level.

• Drive the development of strategies to use digital engineering to reduce time and cost of delivery, improve quality of deliverables, and create standardised digital workflows.
• Deliver confident and quality digital value add to our clients.
• Co ordinate and drive the digital development for yourself.
• Partner with clients' relevant digital delivery/development team members to ensure we remain up to speed with and influence their digital offerings.
• Assist with coaching younger modelers on delivering large projects (guiding and teaching).
• Develop and comply with BIM execution plans, and provide support, maintenance and extension of existing Revit add ins and AutoCAD add ins.
