Job Description
We're seeking a reliable and detail oriented STOREMAN & EXPEDITOR to oversee stock management and ensure smooth operational flow across our busy multi concept restaurant group. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, accuracy in inventory control, and the ability to coordinate timely supply and service execution across multiple outlets in Parkhurst and Bryanston, Johannesburg.
The group operates three distinct concepts: a Greek restaurant, a premium steakhouse, and an Italian eatery - each reflecting diverse culinary identities and high standards.
Experience & Qualifications- Warehouse or inventory experience, preferably in hospitality industry
- 3 - 5+ years' experience in stock control and expediting operations
- Solid knowledge of procurement processes, supplier relations, and stock systems
- Proven ability to manage timely deliveries and service coordination in high volume environments
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Team player with a disciplined, professional approach
- Receive, store, and issue goods in line with company procedures
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Expedite workflow between kitchen, service, and management to avoid bottlenecks
- Uphold hygiene, safety, and operational standards in line with company policies
- Assist in training junior staff on stock handling and operational procedures
- Collaborate with management to ensure smooth service execution across outlets
R12,000 - R15,000 CTC, no additional benefits
