Social Media & Content Virtual Assistant (Travel & Lifestyle)

We are seeking a Social Media & Content Virtual Assistant to support a growing travel blog and tour business. This role is ideal for someone with a creative mindset who enjoys repurposing content, organizing digital assets, and helping scale an online brand. The VA will primarily work with existing content (video, ideas, outlines) and help distribute, format, and repurpose it across multiple platforms, as well as assist with basic website and affiliate content updates.

Social Media & Content Repurposing

• Repurpose long-form video content into:
  • Pinterest pins
  • YouTube Shorts
  • Short-form video formats
• Upload and format content for different platforms using provided assets
• Maintain consistency in branding and tone
• Organize and manage a content library

Blog & Website Support (WordPress)

• Convert video content or outlines into blog posts (AI-assisted is acceptable)
• Upload and format blog posts in WordPress
• Insert and update affiliate links (training provided)
• Ensure content is clean, organized, and properly linked

Email Marketing Support

• Assist with drafting and organizing email campaigns
• Repurpose existing content into email-friendly formats
• Support basic email marketing workflows

General Content & Admin Support

• Assist with organizing content ideas and drafts
• Support scaling initiatives as the business grows
• Help reduce workload so the founder can focus on strategy and growth

Must-Have Requirements

• Some background or understanding of social media content
• Comfortable working with short-form video and repurposed content
• Strong written English
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and instructions
• Comfortable using or learning AI tools for content drafting
• Experience with or willingness to learn WordPress
• Organized, reliable, and proactive

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in the travel, lifestyle, or blogging space
• Familiarity with:
• Pinterest
• YouTube Shorts
• Affiliate marketing
• Basic email marketing experience
• Canva or basic design tool familiarity

Tools & Platforms

• WordPress
• Social media platforms (Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, Instagram content repurposing)
• AI tools for drafting content (e.g. ChatGPT or similar)
• Internal task management or messaging tools (to be provided)

Compensation & Work Info: $800 - $1,100 a month. Full-Time preferred (40 hours/week). Flexible time zone. No requirement for constant overlap. Ability to receive tasks, notes, and instructions asynchronously. Occasional availability for check-ins or clarifications as needed.
