JOB PURPOSE The Catering Manager is mainly responsible to increase the operational efficiency of GCG Bermuda operations. Ensures safe and efficient operations. Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues. Enhance the operational procedure, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting and looks for opportunities to expand systems. Carry out any supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company's policies and applicable laws. Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain constant communication with the Cluster GM, management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization. To develop short- and long-term goals and strategies in collaboration with the Cluster General Manager and ensure implementation. Develop, implement, and maintain safety and quality assurance protocols. Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization's internal capacity. Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives including organization profitably, new business development and portfolio of goods produced. Responsible for the monthly P&L of the organization To analyse operating costs and sales reports every month from data in the monthly accounts to determine strategy for controlling costs, reducing wastage and improving productivity. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments To ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget. Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service. Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and systems Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management. Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to equipment quality, customer service, or accidents and mishaps on-site. Lead, motivate and support a team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS TO BE PERFORMED AS NEEDED: Oversee materials and inventory management related to all industrial catering, canteen and ground services. Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment. Track vendor pricing, rebates and service levels Assist with servicing airline catering to include private charters as needed Track vendor pricing, rebates and service levels Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or related field 8+ years of proven experience in an operations management position and Airline, Airline Catering, Industrial Catering, Airline Ground Operations industry preferred Knowledge in international business operations, labor laws, unions and collective agreements preferred Possess a sharp business mind and proven success managing multiple departments toward maximum productivity Proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team Strong budget development and oversight skills Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) etc. Able to communicate in English orally and in writing Travel requirements The position requires limited occasional domestic and international travelling.Embarca en un viaje con nosotros, donde cada día trae nuevas oportunidades de crecimiento y éxito.
