About the role of Site Manager

As a Site Manager, you will oversee key stages of a Data Centre project in East London, starting with groundworks, progressing through the steel structure phase, and into the internal fit out. Working for an established main contractor, you will play a key role within the site team, ensuring delivery is safe, on programme, and to the highest standard across multiple phases of construction.

Responsibilities for Site Manager
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations across groundworks, steel frame, and fit out stages
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to programme
  • Manage site logistics and sequencing across multiple construction phases
  • Maintain high health & safety standards on a complex project
  • Monitor quality and ensure works meet project specifications
Requirements for Site Manager
  • Proven experience working as a Site Manager on large-scale construction projects
  • Experience delivering projects from groundworks through to fit out
  • Background working with main contractors
  • Strong understanding of sequencing, structural works, and finishing stages
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
