SITE MANAGER (Bulk Materials Handling)

Job Location: Eastern Chrome Mines Western Chrome Mines Middelburg Area

• Grade 12 (Matric) essential.
• Diploma or Degree in Mining or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in materials handling or mining operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience in construction and managing of Coal disposal facilities.
• Sound knowledge of bulk material handling equipment.
• Strong understanding of SHEQ regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office and production reporting systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• Successful candidate will be required to pass a medical assessment.

• Plan, direct, and coordinate materials handling activities on site, including loading, hauling, stockpiling, and plant feed.
• Ensure optimal utilization of resources (manpower, machinery, and materials) to achieve production targets.
• Manage Coal disposal facilities.
• Compile daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports.
• Manage operational budgets and control site expenses.
• Ensure legal compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and Labour Relations Act.
• Maintain site discipline.
