Job Description
Calling all Front of House legends! We're on the search for a sweet-toothed scooperstar to help run shifts at our brand new Central Queenstown scoop store.
Do you come from a hospitality, customer service or retail background and enjoy an extra scoop of responsibility? We're looking for someone who'll inspire our team members, set awesome standards for customer service and support our management team in their day-to-day.
We have a permanent or fixed-term part-time position available:
- 20 hours per week
- Monday - Sunday rotating roster
- Mix of day time and evening shifts (10am-4pm, 4pm - midnight, for example)

- Opening the store and setting up for the day
- Managing end-of-shift processes, cashing up and closing up shop
- Completing various store tasks from whipping up sundaes to cleaning, customer service to stock management, etc.
- Managing our food safety and compliance systems throughout the shift
- Ensuring things are running smoothly and taking charge when they're not
- Setting gold star customer service standards and leading a fun crew from the front
- but mostly: scooping ice cream and making peoples' day!
- An enthusiastic team player who is happy providing direction, correction and feedback
- Down to deliver awesome customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with some sole-charge work
- Flexible and have good availability to work a range of shifts
- Ready and willing to step in and step up when needed
