Job Description

Our Shift Manager plays a key role in leading daily operations and setting the tone for both team members and guests. You are responsible for creating a safe, fun, and well run environment by supporting your team, solving problems in real time, and ensuring every guest has a great experience. This is a hands on leadership role where you will actively work alongside your team while managing the bigger picture of the shift.

You are expected to take ownership of your shift, from team performance and guest satisfaction to cleanliness, safety, and operational flow. A great Shift Manager is proactive, communicates clearly, and leads by example in both attitude and work ethic.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and support team members across the rink, café, and admissions
  • Ensure a safe environment by actively monitoring the floor and addressing issues immediately
  • Deliver a great guest experience by resolving concerns quickly and professionally
  • Manage shift flow, including staffing, breaks, and position coverage
  • Step into any role as needed (café, front counter, floor, etc.)
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational standards throughout the facility
  • Monitor food service quality, speed, and safety standards
  • Communicate clearly with team members and upper management
  • Handle basic cash management and closing/opening responsibilities

Requirements
  • Previous leadership or supervisor experience preferred (but not required)

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
  • Basic understanding of customer service and food safety standards
  • Willingness to be hands on in all areas of the facility
