SHEQ Supervisor - Compressor Technique

As a SHEQ Supervisor within the Compressor Technique Business Area, you will be integral to fostering a safe, healthy, environmentally responsible, and quality-driven workplace. This role demands a proactive and experienced professional to lead and implement SHEQ strategies aligned with global standards and company policies. You will report to the CSO (Compressor Service & Optimization) Business Line Manager.

You will :

• Represent the organization in SHEQ meetings when required, ensuring professional communication and alignment with client expectations.
• Compile and submit Total Incident Analysis (TIA) reports in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and support the delivery of SHEQ-related training sessions, ensuring employee competency and compliance with organizational training schedules.
• Provide coaching and guidance to employees and supervisors on safe work practices and SHEQ compliance.
• Assist in planning and facilitating emergency drills and evacuation procedures.
• Promote proactive communication and collaboration between management, employees, contractors, and SHEQ teams.
• Facilitate Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases (COID) claims, ensuring timely submission of accurate supporting documentation.
• Participate in regular risk walks to proactively identify workplace hazards and improvement opportunities.
• Assist SHE Representatives during workplace inspections, internal audits, and hazard reporting activities.
• Conduct baseline, issue-based, and continuous risk assessments, ensuring that findings are documented, communicated, and actioned.
• Identify hazards, recommend effective controls, and validate the implementation of mitigation measures.
• Prepare for and support external audits, including ISO certification audits, hygiene audits, and medical surveillance audits.
• Ensure consistent SHEQ compliance across all operational areas.
• Monitor the Management Site to ensure that all SHEQ-related policies, procedures, and processes align with ISO standards and group requirements ("The Way We Do Things").
• Ensure policies and procedures are current, correctly filed, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Note: Drafting and updating policies remain the responsibility of the Business Area; the SHEQ Supervisor ensures visibility, clarity, and compliance.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving the organization's ISO global certification accreditation.
• Compile, maintain, and update comprehensive project or site-specific Safety Files in compliance with the OHS Act, Construction Regulations, ISO standards, and client specifications.

• National Diploma or relevant qualification in Safety, Health, Environment, or Quality Management.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a SHEQ role or similar environment.
• Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Experience with incident reporting systems (e.g., TIA App) advantageous.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and SHE legislation.
