As a Senior Travel & Transport Consultant, you'll play a key role in ensuring travelers get the best vehicle for their needs. You will provide expert guidance, process bookings, and deliver exceptional service that leads to repeat business and referrals.

Customer Service & Sales

• Respond to rental enquiries promptly, providing expert advice and personalized recommendations.
• Profile clients to match them with the most suitable vehicle based on their itinerary and needs.
• Deliver a high conversion rate on enquiries by offering persuasive and tailored solutions.
• Assist clients with payment processing and alternative solutions when needed.
• Assisting clients with route planning.

Booking & Administration

• Process bookings accurately, ensuring all details align with quotes and system data.
• Manage special requests such as cross-border travel and additional equipment.
• Issue precise travel documentation, ensuring clients have all necessary information.
• Handle cancellations, refunds, and customer queries professionally.

Customer Support & Issue Resolution

• Provide concierge-level service from booking through to vehicle return.
• Resolve complaints and unexpected travel issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings and client interactions.

Flexibility & Collaboration

• Participate in after-hours or weekend duty on a rotational basis.
• Support the team with additional tasks as needed.

• A tourism diploma (or relevant qualification) is preferred.
• Fluent in English (first or second language) and able to communicate in Afrikaans.
• Comfortable speaking with international clients.
• Experience in car rental, 4x4 hire, or tourism-related roles is an advantage but not required.
• A strong understanding of the tourism industry and a passion for travel.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace (Tourplan knowledge is a plus).
• A valid driver's license and own transport.
