Senior Therapist Luxury Safari Lodge Greater Kruger

Accommodation: Live-in

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Therapist to join a luxury safari lodge in the Greater Kruger region. This is an exciting opportunity for a wellness professional with a love for holistic treatments and a passion for yoga, looking to grow within a high end hospitality environment.

Requirements
  • Relevant spa qualification with proven experience

Key Responsibilities Operational
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Wellness Centre, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels across all wellness areas
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed consistently
  • Report and follow up on maintenance issues to ensure minimal guest disruption
  • Uphold high standards of SOPs across all treatments and wellness facilities
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed, including proper use of equipment and electrical items
Guest Experience
  • Engage with guests proactively, promoting wellness facilities and experiences
  • Manage bookings efficiently, ensuring proper scheduling for treatments
  • Deliver high-quality treatments to international luxury standards
  • Ensure all guests complete necessary forms and receive personalized, safe treatments
  • Provide a holistic and memorable wellness journey from start to finish
  • Maintain strict guest confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Assist guests with boutique purchases and wellness-related services
Team Management
  • Train, mentor, and support therapists, ensuring adherence to standards and protocols
  • Conduct performance reviews and address any performance concerns
  • Manage team schedules, leave, and daily operations according to business needs
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene, grooming, and professionalism within the team
  • Foster a positive team environment through communication and motivation
  • Ensure the team is well versed in all treatments, wellness offerings, and unique guest experiences
Administration
  • Assist with stock takes, stock control, and reporting discrepancies
  • Monitor and report stock shortages and manage ordering processes
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and hygiene protocols
  • Capture treatments accurately on systems and maintain up to date records
  • Monitor departmental budgets and support cost control initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding guest feedback and operational needs
