Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist (Johannesburg) in this mid-level role that offers the opportunity to manage a basket of pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with South African and international regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies for new product submissions.
  • Maintain and update existing registrations in line with legislation and guidelines.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee dossier preparation, artwork approvals, and compliance reporting.
  • Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • BPharm with registration at the South African Pharmacy Council.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist (human medicines preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of CTD/eCTD compilation, risk management, CAPAs, and quality systems.
  • Project management skills with the ability to deliver on time, to quality, and within cost.
  • Experience in African territories advantageous.
