IntroductionArcelorMittal is hiring for a Senior Quality Analyst to join their Quality Management department with Steel Making & Final Products.
Responsibilities & requirements- Releasing of final steel products according to international and internal quality specifications
- Verifying and capturing laboratory results into reporting systems and filing of result reports
- Understanding and maintaining the quality assurance system and related test specifications (ISO17025, ISO9001)
- Liaising with internal interested parties (e mail, telephonic or meetings) regarding material testing status, release, and certification thereof.
- Generating and issuing product test certificates for released material and all associated functions like achieving and retrieving of certificates.
- Re certification of material as required or instructed by internal parties.
- Reclass material if not within specification
- Compiling and distributing a daily Laboratory report to various internal interested parties
- Liaising with Laboratory staff about adhoc or additional tests required
- Liaising with Laboratory staff and external mechanical inspectors during onsite witnessing of material and certification thereof.
- Investigate system errors and reporting thereof
- Must be proficient with computer systems like MS Office, Phoenix, LIMS, Business Objects
- Grade12 (with Mathematics and Science)
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
