senior manufacture - North West - £70k plus package

Our client is looking for an experienced senior manager to join them in this key manufacturing role.

• To direct and manage the production operation so that customer needs are met creatively, effectively and efficiently.
• To drive business efficiency and improvement through playing a leading role on the operational management team.
• To realise the potential within the production operation.
• To drive improvement of operating margins continuously.
• To ensure that the organisation meets health and safety, quality and environmental legal requirements.

• To lead and direct production operations so that customer requirements are met reliably and consistently.
• To introduce world class manufacturing standards to improve competitiveness and to measure improvement against key performance indicators.
• To increase profit margins through the management of quality standards, health and safety requirements and environmental protection in production.
• In conjunction with Finance, assist in the construction of realistic and achievable budgets and forecasts, followed by ongoing analysis, correction and amendments, to achieve forecasted profits and control costs.
• Development and motivation of own staff, ensuring they have sufficient skills now and have identified additional skills training planned, to increase flexibility.
