We are working with a highly successful and fast paced retailer, who are looking for a Senior Homeware Buyer to join their dynamic team.

The Senior Homeware Buyer will work across ranges of soft furnishings such as bedding styles, soft towels, throws, curtains, rugs, etc.

• Carry out research into trends and competitors
• Liaise with and visit factories based in China
• Source fabrics and trims
• Approve lab dips and strike offs as well manage the sample process and sign off on red and gold seals
• Analyse and monitor sales, identify best and worst sellers, and take appropriate action based on this
• Develop ranges from initial concepts through to product launch
• Manage a team of Buyers, JBs, ABs
• Report into and working closely with the Head of Buying

The Senior Homeware Buyer must have excellent communication and organisation skills. Previous experience working within homeware or textiles, and developing own ranges is essential.

This position is full time in the office.
