Senior Commercial Operations - Specialised Tankers
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Commercial Operations Executive to manage a fleet of specialised tankers.

This role requires high commercial acumen, as you will be responsible for the P&L of each voyage, ensuring cargo quality is maintained while optimizing vessel performance and bunker costs.
Key Responsibilities- Voyage Execution: Manage the end-to-end operations for Voyage and Time Charter vessels. Issue clear voyage orders and coordinate closely with Masters to ensure compliance with loading/discharge instructions.
- Cargo Care: Monitor strict heating instructions and tank cleaning protocols essential for vegetable oil and edible cargo integrity to prevent contamination or off-spec claims.
- Bunker Optimization: Develop and execute the most economical bunker plans. Coordinate supply and monitor fuel quality/consumption to protect voyage margins.
- Financial Management: Take full ownership of the IMOS lifecycle - from initial voyage estimation to issuing freight invoices and settling final Port Disbursement Accounts (DAs).
- Performance & Analytics: Calculate vessel speed and consumption. Perform detailed post-voyage analysis to identify variances between estimated and actual P&L, providing clear explanations for commercial deviations.
- Claims Management: Prepare accurate demurrage calculations and provide comprehensive handover packages to the claims team.
- Experience: 5-10 years in Tanker Operations.
- Technical Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies would be ideal.
- System Knowledge: Proven proficiency in IMOS is essential for this role.
- Soft Skills: A service-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure. You should be a problem-solver who can communicate effectively with port agents, ship owners, and internal trading desks.
