Job Description

A maritime company in Cape Town is seeking a qualified Second Officer to oversee navigation watchkeeping and ensure compliance with international maritime regulations. You will be responsible for maintaining navigational safety equipment, voyage planning, and assisting with port operations. The ideal candidate holds an Officer of the Watch certificate and possesses strong knowledge of navigation, COLREGs, and bridge procedures. This position requires good leadership and communication skills, and the ability to operate under pressure.
