# ScientistRheinmetall Denel Munition (RF) (Pty) Ltd in Potchefstroom/ ScientistWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Design and Development of new products. Development of new simulation and/or prediction codes, programs and software. Analysis of requirements and preparation of proposals and specifications for technical solutions. Development of technical information for both internal and external use. Conducts investigations, identifying root causes and the development of preventative and corrective actions. Designing within PD and co-ordinating specific design & development projects for new products and on-going developments. Manages product Data Packs / Master Record Indexes. Aids with the manufacture of prototypes and pilot batches. Manage project deliverables and co-ordinate development projects between Product Development, Quality, Process Engineering and Production. Provides inputs to the development of project plans in terms of technical path and budgeting. Generation of proposals for product improvements and new developments. Engineering management. Preparation of product/project presentations for internal and external customers. Assist in the preparation of technical literature such a brochures and specifications. Aid in tender and contractual compliance verifications. Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in Engineering/Chemistry or equivalent MEng/ MSc in Engineering/Chemistry would be advantageous. At least 3 years' experience in design and development within a high-tech industry An advanced level of computer literacy is essential, i.e. design and data analysis. Good interpersonal skills and coordinating capability. Clear security screening record. Good verbal and written communication. Good interpersonal skills and coordinating capability. Good planning and attention to detail. Self-motivated and independent. Computer literate (MS Packages).
