Scientific Programmer - Institute of Mine Seismology, Somerset West

The Institute of Mine Seismology is seeking to fill a permanent position in the Science & Technology sector at IMS in Somerset West (40km from Cape Town). After 1 year, there would be the possibility of working out of our Australian office. We are looking for ambitious individuals to join our development team to design, develop, maintain and support a Java based system for seismological services. Candidates should have strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as good communication skills. The ideal candidate should be able to work well in a small team, be energetic, enthusiastic and flexible.
