Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Achieve exhibition, sponsorship and revenue sales targets.
  • Prospect, pitch and close new exhibitors, sponsors and commercial partners.
  • Manage renewals, rebookings, upselling and cross selling opportunities.
  • Maintain and prioritise an accurate sales pipeline and database.
  • Reactivate dormant and lapsed clients through structured follow ups.
  • Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor events and industry developments.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, reporting and pipeline updates.
  • Manage floorplan allocations and support commercial event planning.
  • Focus on high probability sales opportunities to maximise conversion rates.
Qualifications
  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • 3-10 years' B2B sales experience with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Strong prospecting, cold calling, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines and forecasting accurately.
  • Ability to engage with decision makers and manage commercial relationships professionally.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, SAP and AI tools.
  • Highly organised, resilient, proactive and target driven.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
