Our client, a leading organisation in the renewable energy sector, is seeking to employ an experienced Sales Agent to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional with a strong background in marketing, business development, and clean energy solutions.

Remuneration: R plus lucrative commission!

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field (advantageous)
  • Proven experience in marketing and business development
  • Experience within renewable energy, solar PV or electrical industrial sectors preferred
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems and commercial project environments
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, sales conversion, and client relationship management
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to align marketing strategies to profitability
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy and Business Growth

  • Develop and implement marketing and lead generation strategies for the C&I Solar PV sector
  • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and client segments
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, presentations, and events

Lead Generation and Sales Development

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored client proposals
  • Maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients to drive conversion and retention

Administration and Reporting

  • Maintain and update CRM systems for accurate lead tracking
  • Prepare marketing performance reports and track return on investment
  • Provide regular updates to management on performance and opportunities

Client Relations and After-Sales

  • Ensure professional client engagement and post-project follow-up
  • Resolve client concerns efficiently to maintain satisfaction
  • Support customer retention and long term relationships

Public Relations and Brand Representation

  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences
  • Manage brand image through media engagement and communication
  • Oversee creation of marketing materials including case studies and press releases
  • Coordinate with social media providers for consistent online presence
