# Job Description The OpsXperience Programme is a 12 month paid work experience internship designed for unemployed graduates to gain practical, hands on exposure within Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) Operations. The programme provides graduates with the opportunity to build foundational banking, operational, and professional skills while contributing meaningfully to live business environments. Graduates are placed within operational teams across RMB, where they gain exposure to real processes, systems, and projects, while developing the skills required to succeed in a professional banking environment. What the Programme Offers Hands on experience within real banking operations and business teams Exposure to core operational processes, systems, and ways of working within RMB Participation in a structured induction and skills development programme Opportunities to build technical, analytical, and professional workplace skills Ongoing learning through on the job experience, collaboration, and feedback Exposure to different operational areas to support career exploration and growth The programme is designed to build a pipeline of future operational talent, with strong performers considered for further opportunities within the Group, subject to business requirements Key Responsibilities Deliver high quality work across assigned tasks, projects, and deliverables Support operational teams through accurate execution, planning, and timely reporting Contribute to projects through analytical thinking, problem solving, and innovative input Participate actively in knowledge sharing and collaboration with peers and stakeholders Take ownership of personal development by actively building skills and competencies Adhere to and demonstrate FirstRand's shared values and business philosophy at all times Learning and Development Participation in a structured induction programme Exposure to banking operations, systems, and operational processes Skills development through practical work, learning sessions, and feedback Opportunity to build professional confidence and workplace readiness Qualifications and Experience A recognised Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: + Engineering + Mathematics + Computer Science + Statistics + Legal + Commerce No or limited formal work experience (less than 12 months) Unemployed at the time of appointment Required Competencies Strong analytical and problem solving skills Attention to detail with a quality driven mindset Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong communication and relationship building skills Learning agility and willingness to develop new skills Resilience and ability to manage pressure Self motivation with a results driven approach Application Requirements Please attach: An updated CV Full academic transcript ML4 Important Closing Date Note # Take note that applications will not be accepted on the below date and onwards, kindly submit applications ahead of the closing date indicated below. 18/04/26All appointments will be made in line with FirstRand Group's Employment Equity plan.
