Duties & Responsibilities- Conduct rigging activities related to shaft equipping and maintenance
- Install and maintain shaft steelwork, Bunton's, guides, pipes, and brackets
- Perform lifting and lowering of heavy equipment within the shaft
- Inspect and maintain lifting tackle and rigging equipment
- Assist with conveyance installation and maintenance (cages, skips, counterweights)
- Participate in shaft inspections and report defects
- Conduct pre-task risk assessments before commencing work
- Ensure strict compliance with Mine Health & Safety Act and COPs
- Always maintain high housekeeping and safety standards
- Shaft experience would be advantageous
