A premium broker dedicated to helping its clients increase their wealth is looking for a Retention Team Leader.

As a Team Leader for the English Desk in Johannesburg you will play a key role in driving team success, fostering collaboration, and contributing to the growth of the company's operations in the region.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and supervise a team dedicated to the South Africa desk, providing guidance and support.
  2. Set goals and targets for the team to achieve in alignment with company objectives.
  3. Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and implement strategies for improvement.
  4. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  5. Develop training programs and mentor team members to enhance skills and productivity.
  6. Act as a point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and complex issues.
  7. Collaborate with senior management to report on team performance and contribute to strategic planning.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a financial services or sales environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities to coordinate team efforts.
  • Sound decision-making skills and problem-solving acumen.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
