To drive revenue growth and operationalefficiency within the Rent-to-Own division by managing sales activities,overseeing daily operations, and ensuring an exceptional customer experiencethroughout the rental-to-ownership lifecycle.
KeyResponsibilities
Sales &Business Development
- Promote and sell Rent-to-Ownproducts/services to new and existing customers
- Identify sales opportunities and activelygenerate leads
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
- Build and maintain strong customerrelationships
- Conduct needs assessments and presentsuitable Rent-to-Own solutions
- Prepare and present quotations,contracts, and agreements
CustomerManagement
- Guide customers through the Rent-to-Ownprocess from onboarding to ownership
- Ensure clear communication of terms,conditions, and payment structures
- Handle customer queries, complaints, andescalations professionally
- Monitor customer accounts, includingpayment tracking and follow-ups
OperationsManagement
- Oversee daily operations of theRent-to-Own function
- Coordinate vehicle/product allocation,availability, and returns
- Ensure contracts, documentation, andcompliance requirements are accurately completed
- Work closely with finance on billing,collections, and account reconciliation
- Monitor stock/assets within theRent-to-Own fleet or inventory
- Track payments, arrears, and accountperformance
- Assist with credit checks and customerapprovals
- Ensure accurate record-keeping andreporting
- Prepare weekly/monthly performancereports
- Ensure all transactions comply withcompany policies and legal requirements
- Minimise risk through proper vetting andmonitoring of customers
- Enforce contract terms and managedefaults or repossessions where necessary
- Work closely with sales, operations, andfinance teams
- Provide training and support to teammembers where required
- Contribute to process improvements andoperational efficiency
KeyRequirements
Education& Experience
- Relevant qualification in Business,Sales, or Operations (preferred)
- 2-5 years' experience in sales,operations, or a similar role
- Experience in car rental, fleetmanagement, or finance/Rent-to-Own models is advantageous
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and customerservice abilities
- High level of attention to detail andadministrative accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and workunder pressure
- Financial acumen and understanding ofcredit processes
- Problem-solving and decision-makingskills
