Role Summary

Would you like to be part of answering the call to reach the world for Christ through media? We need a person gifted in assessing audience needs, networking, and evaluating appropriate content for our media outlets in Africa! Your role would include oversight of a regional team of content creators who have a heart to bring the wonderful news of Jesus' saving grace to people looking for hope. Please note: This position is a supported/sponsored missionary role (not a direct hire opportunity), so the approved candidate would need to develop a team of partners to provide financially for their full salary and benefits. Responsibilities
  • Engage with the Audience Relations Department for audience response data and reports
  • Provide counsel as part of the Global Content Leadership Team, developing global content strategy
  • Work closely with other regional content managers and their teams in the sharing of content, human resources, strategies, etc. with an eye towards a unified TWR global plan
  • Oversee the selection and placement of programming on regional outlets and regularly assess the effectiveness of that content
  • Manage a regional team of content creators and any content support personnel, educating them in best programming practices and drawing on their strengths to enhance content
  • Continue to receive ongoing training to grow in the role
Qualifications Required
  • 3-5 years of radio programming experience desired
  • Must speak, read, write, and comprehend English
  • Must be proficient in the latest technology and software, e.g., Microsoft Office
