We are recruiting on behalf of a growing international recruitment business specialising in engineering and technical placements across Australia, the UK, and the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly driven and resilient Recruitment Resourcer / Candidate Engagement Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, phone-based environment. The role is focused on candidate outreach, relationship building, and pipeline generation rather than traditional end-to-end recruitment administration.

You will work directly with an experienced international recruiter who has built strong global client relationships over more than a decade in the industry. Using structured processes, candidate databases, and proven outreach systems, you'll play a key role in scaling placements and supporting ambitious international growth plans over the next five years.

The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, highly persistent, motivated by targets, and comfortable handling rejection while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound calls and follow-up outreach to engineering and technical candidates across international markets.

  • Engage warm and cold candidates using structured communication processes and scripts.

  • Build rapport with candidates and identify potential opportunities aligned with their career goals.

  • Manage candidate pipelines and diarise follow-up activities consistently.

  • Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM systems, and candidate databases to manage outreach activities.

  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and progress within the CRM.

  • Support recruiters by qualifying candidate interest and maintaining engagement throughout the recruitment process.

  • Follow multi-touch outreach strategies, including messages, calls, and follow-ups.

  • Meet daily KPI targets relating to call volumes, candidate engagement, and pipeline activity.

  • Collaborate closely with leadership and participate in ongoing coaching and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in recruitment, telesales, appointment setting, lead generation, or outbound sales.

  • Strong phone communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Resilient personality with the ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain motivation.

  • Comfortable working within KPI-driven environments.

  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM systems, or sales/recruitment platforms is advantageous.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage follow-ups and multiple conversations simultaneously.

  • Previous exposure to engineering, technical recruitment, or international markets is beneficial but not essential.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining accountability.

  • Reliable laptop/computer and stable high-speed internet connection required.

Working Hours
  • Initially aligned with Australian business hours during onboarding and training.
