Role Summary

The Warehouse Receiving Coordinator will coordinate activities in the receiving area and material warehouse, ensure accurate stock handling, and support production needs.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate receiving team activities to meet objectives and manage stock accuracy.
  • Participate in environmental, health, safety initiatives and comply with policies.
  • Act as back fill for Warehouse Team Leader and follow instructions.
  • Manage the team fairly, set targets, ensure staff training and handle change.
  • Propose resources, communicate strategies, and foster a motivating environment.
  • Ensure accurate receipt and inspection of all incoming stock per SOPs.
  • Capture receipt of stock on the ERP system within agreed timelines.
  • Generate and distribute compliant receipt documentation.
  • Supply adequate packaging materials and handle high value/scheduled medicine.
  • Prevent stock losses from damage or security breaches and ensure correct locations.
  • Oversee picking orders, toll manufacturing orders, and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain daily reports and monthly warehouse activity reports.
  • Ensure safety, cGMP/GDP, housekeeping standards, and valid forklift license usage.
  • Maintain warehouse infrastructure, handle equipment, and report malfunctions.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment and prevent accidents or losses.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or any relevant NQF level 4.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in raw material handling or receiving warehouse.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical warehousing (advantageous).
  • Warehouse-related qualification advantageous.
  • Previous team management or leadership experience advantageous.
  • Good attendance record.
